When Grasshopper Farms (GHF), a premium, outdoor cannabis farm in western Michigan, wanted to launch their brand in May 2021, they called the C-360 Agency. The goals were to generate awareness of this new local brand as well as to drive traffic to the website from both retailers and consumers—two wholly different target markets. C-360 developed a multi-faceted social media and marketing campaign that included developing and designing a new logo and website, implementing social media and email marketing campaigns, creating collateral materials, and securing radio advertising. In addition, we developed trade show materials and several slide decks for investor relations presentations. One of our most important marketing tactics was the implementation of a strong media relations effort in both the local Michigan market and targeted national trade outlets. This included crisis communications strategy and guidance during a national story that reflected somewhat negatively on GHF, as well as continuously drafting and pitching newsworthy press releases when warranted. Lastly, we recently secured over five different, targeted podcasts for founder Will Bowden to be the featured guest – increasing his profile as a thought leader in both the cannabis industry and local Michigan business arena. Finally, we partnered with GHF to promote their unique Green Ticket sweepstakes (akin to Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket). Our multi-layered marketing strategy included media relations outreach, email marketing, website landing pages, a social media campaign, radio spots and contest collateral materials. It’s been exciting to be a partnered with such a dynamic leader and company as we work together to grow the GHF brand in Michigan.
